UCD Law Study Abroad Programme

UCD Law Study Abroad Programme

The UCD School of Law offers visiting students the opportunity to study and immerse themselves in the largest Law School in Ireland. The School has an exceptional academic community where students enjoy direct engagement with experts in the field who are the cutting edge of teaching and research. We specialise in a range of high quality degree programmes in law as a stand alone dicipline or in combination with a number of other disciplines. Opportunities are also given for students to develop their legal skills through participation in mooting events and the UCD Law Review which is a student run legal journal.

Facilities

The UCD School of Law is located at Roebuck Castle on the Belfield campus where students receive support from the dedicated student co-ordinator. The School is home to the only Institute of Criminology in Ireland and the Commerical Law Centre. Students enjoy small tutorial sessions in the Castle whilst also being able to avail of the many social activities that take place on the large University campus.

Law Subject Choices

Modules are available in the following subject areas:

  • Law & Society e.g. Criminal Justice, Environmental Law
  • Law & Individual e.g. Human Rights Law, Family & Child Law
