As a Study Abroad student at the UCD School of Business, you join the largest and most dynamic business school in Ireland, participating in all aspects of academic and social life in our vibrant campus. UCD Quinn School of Business is the only business school in Ireland to hold both AACSB and EQUIS accreditations - the quality mark for top ranking business schools in the USA and Europe. The School is also a distinguished member of CEMS.
Facilities
The UCD Quinn School of Business state of the art, modern building was opened in 2002. It has one of the most advanced eLearning infrastructures in Europe. As part of this infrastructure, laptop computers are an integral part of the learning process. If you don't have your own laptop there is a leasing programme available for Study Abroad students who require a laptop for their semester at UCD.

Module Details
Details of the modules available within the business major may be obtained from

Each module is comprised of three hours of formal classes per week. The majority are taught in small groups of fifty or fewer students.
Students attending the Quinn School of Business may take up to four Business modules per semester
Irish History
In addition to business modules, Study Abroad students are required to take a special module focusing on Irish History and Culture. This module is taught under the same structure as the business modules. Field trips to places of historical interest are an integral component of this module.
Assessment
Formal examinations are set at the end of each semester in December and May. International students are expected to undertake examinations in accordance with University regulations. Increasingly, project and class-based work forms a substantial component of the assessment process.
Credit Transfer
At the end of the semester, the UCD Quinn School of Business sends an official transcript to their home institution. The home institution decides on credits to be awarded for modules completed at UCD.
Eligibility
The Minimum GPA Requirement is 3.00
In addition to completing the UCD on-line application process, a transcript of academic record to date and letter of recommendation from an academic referee should be sent to the UCD Quinn School Study Abroad Programme Office before the application date.
