Located in beautiful grounds in Ranelagh area, just ten minutes from Dublin city centre, only ten minute area heart of the city of Dublin, Milltown Institute is a thriving third level college specialising in philosophy, theology, spirituality, cultural studies and pastoral care. Milltown is open to everyone, young and old, believers and non-affiliated. As a specialist institute Milltown offers an alternative to large university campuses with multiple departments and thousands of students. The characteristic spirit of Milltown Institute is experienced in the interactive style of teaching, the friendly attitude of staff and lasting friendships students develop while studying here. Milltown offers a high level of personal student support due to the generous ratio of staff to students, giving learners the opportunity to discuss their work in detail with course presenters. Over 700 participants from 44 nationalities are represented on our student body. With our outreach centres both in Ireland and abroad, we form a community of learning and mutual support which encourages a creative dialogue of discovery between staff and course participants. Milltown offers six Undergraduate Degrees, over twenty Postgraduate Programmes and a range of Adult and Continuing Education courses and Selected Courses. Courses are run on a full-time, part-time, modular or online basis.
