American College Dublin is located on Merrion Square in three beautiful Georgian houses including the former home of Oscar Wilde. We are established since 1993 and since then our objective is to provide quality international education for students from all over the world by combining the excellent traditions of the American and Irish education systems.

The educational experience offered by ACD is unique in that students learn in a progressive, interactive way. Students take 5 subjects per semester, and are awarded 6 credits per subject successfully completed. During the semester, extensive continuous assessment is used to ensure progress is maintained. Class size is small, which allows for greater interaction between students and lecturers.

The programmes we offer are designed to encourage an eagerness to learn that will remain with our students for the rest of their lives. Our programmes have a solid academic foundation, in addition to which they have an internship requirement which provides our undergraduates with practical work experience.

Students are encouraged to question and discuss issues, which leads to a more dynamic learning experience. Additional features of the American College Dublin experience include internships, the opportunity to study abroad at our sister institution Lynn University in Florida, plus a range of student support services.
