What the Students say
"..First of all everybody made me feel more than welcome in Mary I. There was no question that I could not ask or problem that I could not find somebody to help me with. The College is way smaller than my University at home, so it was easy to get to know people and the lecturers as well. Plus, I was lucky enough to join some societies where I really got to know Irish people... Getting to know people from countries all over the world and sharing experiences like a trip to Belfast or Dublin is something that probably happens once in your lifetime..." Julia (Germany)
"My semester in Limerick was a really good experience to improve my English and to meet a lot of people!!! really enjoyed it!!! And Ireland is a really beautiful country. I will have to come back some day." Emmanuelle (France)
"... This has been the experience of a lifetime and If I could come back and change anything about it I wouldn't - not a thing. Everything I have done here has benefitted me as a person. Someday I will be back". Steven (USA)
One of the main characteristics of Mary Immaculate College is the emphasis it places on providing a relaxed and harmonious environment in which to study. The College actively encourages and cultivates an informal atmosphere, friendly rapport between students and staff, concern for the individual student and a warm welcome for new students from Ireland and abroad. The College Mission Statement underscores an ethos grounded in principles such as respect for cultural diversity and individual values, the promotion of equity in society and a spirit of justice and compassion in the services of others.
Campus Life
