"I really enjoy the study-trips in and out of Ireland arranged by our department and the university. It offers plenty of chances for us to directly talk to diverse operators of the tourism industry in different countries during the trips, and we are highly encouraged to think from an international perspective. As a Chinese student, I usually share my thoughts with Irish classmates and other international students. A lot of interesting cultural differences are discovered from discussion. Studying in UL opens my mind and inspires me to learn more in my field."
