Education Ireland is delighted to announce details of a forthcoming Education Mission to the USA which will be led by Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister (An Tánaiste) and Minister of Education and Skills, Ms Mary Coughlan T.D.
Trinity Immunology Research Places Ireland Among the Top Nations in Immunology Immunology research carried out by Trinity College Dublin has placed Ireland  in the top three nations  worldwide according to  data provided by Thomson Reuters from its Essential Science Indicators database for the ten year period,  January 1999-October 2009. The country is ranked in third place ahead of Japan and behind the US and Switzerland which is in first place.
UCD's Centre for Cybecrime Investigation is the only centre of its kind in Europe The University College Dublin (UCD) Centre for Cybercrime Investigation (CCI) is the only facility in Europe to educate specialist officers to unravel online abuses.
The heads of cybercrime at Interpol and Europol are among the investigators who hold a masters qualification from the facility, which is now in pole position to become the EU hub for centres of excellence in IT forensics
